2635
Chemical
Structure:
C10H18O
Relative
Molecular Mass:154.25
Properties:
It
has three kinds of optical isomers: Left rotated, Right rotated, and
Non rotated.
The
Left Rotated isomer is the most commonly existing type in the
Natural World. It is contained in Bergamot oil, Lavender, Clary
sage, Petitigran Oil, HO Camphor Oil, Rosewood Oil, Citric Oil and
Lime oil as well.
The
Right Rotated isomer exists in Coriandrum Oil, Sweet Birch Oil,
Orange Oil and Nutmeg Oil etc..
The
substance is achromatous to primrose liquid, with boiling point at
198℃,
and flash point at 76℃.
It is not resolvable in water, and just very slightly resolvable in
Glycerol. It is resolvable in Ethanol, Propanediol and other Oils.
Producing Metheod:
Synthesized
with Myrcene, α-Pinene
or Linalool Dehydrogenase. It can also be separated from essence
oils containing Linalool.
