Manufacture:  Dehydrated from α - Terpineol.

Natural Existence: According to report it exists in Piper cubeba, as well as in many kinds of essential oils, e.g., Boldea fragrans Juss, Xanthoxylum rhetsa DC and Ormenix multicaulis, etc..

Supervision StatusFDA 121.1164FEMA 3658.

Regulation Status: 14-CINEOLE is recognized by FEMA1984as GRASNO.3658, and is approved by FDA to be used in food products.(21 CFR 172.515). Council of Europe 1981 enlisted 14-CINEOLE in to the substance inventory that has not  been fully  assessed.
